Okay. Something’s going on. I’m getting a lot of mail about this, all of it the anonymous kind. I think people are just heartbroken reporting it, too, since there’s been so much back and forth on this project. I’m going to try to contact Darren Aronofsky’s office to see what they have to say about this, but here’s what people are saying:
Brad Pitt is out of The Fountain; project crumbling; Darren is scrambling but it looks like the death blow.
They’re saying this:
Friend of mine said you'd want to know this - if you didn't already LOL
Pitt left FOUNTAIN today (though it's been on and off forever as we all know)
The thought of Pitt leaving now, after everything the film has been through, and after he grew THE BEARD... well, it’s just a bloody shame. I think he would have been remarkable in the film.
As soon as we can verify this, I’ll report back. For now, consider it a very heated rumor.
