The man that got Marvel on track is unleashed on BATMAN!

Hey folks, Harry here... Well... this is a good sign. Having the pair of Goyer and Nolan on board BATMAN... it is very very good. Now, if only they'd name Goyer a producer and actually go with what Nolan and Goyer cook up, we could be in for the BATMAN film we've never seen... One that makes BATMAN the detective he's never been in film... The acrobat that he's never been... The badass that he's never been. A film that would make BATMAN scary, taut and compelling. I have no doubt that that is what David Goyer will come up with, with Christopher Nolan. I have NO DOUBT it would be wildly successful with Audiences. But I have doubts whether or not the noggins behind the Warner shield will allow them to make a non-test marketed story first film that is not being reverse engineered by the merchandizing and marketing concerns of the AOL/TIME/WARNER regime. But I hope... as always, for the best!

From EW.com: In other superhero-movie news, Warner Bros.' promised ''Batman'' resurrection, with ''Insomnia'' and ''Memento'' director Christopher Nolan at the helm, now has a screenwriter. According to Variety, it's David Goyer, who knows from bat-men, having written the movies in the ''Blade'' vampire saga. Details of the screenplay, based on an idea by Nolan, are under wraps, and no one is yet on board to play Bruce Wayne.
