Early Casualties!!CLUBHOUSE' Dead!!HAWAII' Dead!!DR. VEGAS'FATHER OF THE PRIDE'

I am – Hercules!!

What happened? Not only are the networks keeping their best shows on the air this season, but they’re fast to cut loose the worst of the pack.

CBS’ “Clubhouse,” from Aaron Spelling and Mel Gibson, got the axe following a disastrous move from Tuesday to Saturday. It will be replaced by the sixth season of “The Amazing Race.”

Other early cancellations include NBC’s “Hawaii” (routinely crushed by “Lost”).

CBS’ “Dr. Vegas” has gone to hiatus and is not expected to roar back.

NBC’s $2 million-per-episode cartoon sitcom “Father of the Pride” was also yanked from November sweeps, and also now seems unlikely to finish the season.

Fox’s “Tru Calling” was cancelled before the first episode of its second season aired. The WB’s “Grounded For Life” is grounded for good.

Surviving series still suffering from terrible ratings include NBC’s “LAX” and the WB’s “The Mountain” and “Jack & Bobby” (the latter losing last week to Gibson's “Kevin Hill” on UPN).
