Too cool Vanity Fair EPISODE 3 cover, including Ford, Hamill and Billy Dee! + ST & Clone Wars DVD info!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with something that's too cool for school. Comingsoon.net with help from theforce.net have come up with the Vanity Fair cover (a four page fold out) for Episode 3 and boy is it awesome...

CLICK IT HERE AND COME BACK TO GEEK OUT ABOUT IT!!!

What's really giving me hope for REVENGE OF THE SITH is just how much they're associating the look, feel and now actors of the original trilogy with this last film. They're building more sets than in the other prequels, the sets look more like the OT, I've heard they've gone back to model work on a few of the sequences in the movie... hell, the teaser trailer was 40% original trilogy material. All this is either a ploy by Lucas to get those who love the original trilogy, but aren't fond of the new films to fork over their money for another prequel or it could be a sign that he's making this final prequel line up with the look and feel of the original trilogy.

Who knows, historians could look upon the prequel series as a genius move by Lucas to lower the fan expectations for the knock-out punch with REVENGE OF THE SITH. I'm beginning to have faith... So, I'll be very, very upset if he drops the ball. But goddamn if it doesn't give a geek the shivers to see Harrison Ford, at his cocky best, sitting next to Chewie with his princess draped over him. Although, Harry pointed out that Yoda doesn't seem too happy to be on Lucas' lap. Did he get shafted on his pay? Or is he feeling a lump where there shouldn't be one... And where the hell is Alec Guiness? Billy Dee rules and is still awesome looking!!! Hamill is a lounging jedi! And isn't it a little disturbing that Christopher Lee is rubbing elbows with Jar-Jar? Don't fuck this up, Lucas!!!

Also of note is John Williams' soundtrack, possibly his last STAR WARS music ever, will be released on May 3rd. And the CLONE WARS DVD SEASONS 1 and 2 will be released March 22nd. I love Tartakovsky's work on THE CLONE WARS so far and I can't wait to see his longer episodes in the near future!!! Good job to theforce.net for their massive scoopage!!
