Kirkman's INVINCIBLE To Fly At Paramount'!

Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...

Excellent news, really. Paramount Pictures, Lorenzo DiBonaventura, and Circle Of Confusion are working together to bring Robert Kirkman’s INVINCIBLE to the bigscreen, and Kirkman’s going to write the script himself. Already, I’m liking this project. The series is a smart, savvy take on superhero mythology, and Kirkman’s got an original voice. Here’s hoping he remains attached to this one all the way through release, and that it manages to faithfully adapt his work for a whole new audience.

Here’s the e-mail that tipped me to the story, originally reported in VARIETY:

Hi Harry,

I saw this posted on scifiwire earlier today:

Kirkman is one of the best new talents in comics today and Invincible is a fun and innovative take on the superhero genre. The arc that they are going to film blew my mind when I read it. I really hope the ball isn't dropped on this like Global Frequency.

Billy Batson

Thanks for the heads-up, man. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on this one.

"Moriarty" out.
