Just wanted to pass this on. The Untitled Mike Judge Film formerly known as ‘3001’ (always a working title) has now been dubbed “Idiocracy”. Additionally, the opening date of the film will be pushed back to the fall...which explains the total lack of promotion at this point.
I got this from a very reliable source close to the film. Not sure when they’ll announce it officially, but there you go.

Thanks, Albert. IDIOCRACY, eh? Good title, but it sounds like a commercial challenge. They’ll need a great trailer, and it’d be nice if it was in theaters this summer so people have a chance to get familiar with it now.
