Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
I like the fact that Dreamworks doesn’t seem devoted to slavishly aping every move Pixar makes, which would be a losing battle. Instead, they seem to be making all sorts of movies. Sure, their output’s been uneven, but the sheer bulk of what they’re attempting has to earn them some credit, right?
There’s the ultra-safe:

And then there’s that Seinfeld BEE movie:
When I went to an all-day presentation about Dreamworks Animation over a year ago, the project I thought looked most promising was this one:

There’s also a film that isn’t, strictly speaking, animated, but it’ll have a hell of a lot of CGI in it if it’s going to work, and here’s the logo they’re using for the moment:
