McG's Marshall University Football project gets a couple cool passengers!!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a bit of news on McG's next project... Wait! Don't click back just yet! Before you go, take a look at the cast he's assembling...
Fresh off his confident and amazing turn in GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK, David Strathairn has joined the project, which revolves around the 1970 plane crash that killed members of the West Virginia-based Marshall football team as well as coaches, boosters and sports commentators.
Also in the cast is a man that is not a stranger to plane crashes, Mr. Matthew Fox of LOST fame. I'm really interested in seeing his post LOST success jump to the big screen. Let's see if that charisma carries over. Rounding out the 3 cast members we know of is another Matthew, Matthew McConaughey.
It's unclear if McG is actually directing this film... the only mention I can find is of him producing it, but Hollywood Reporter words it like this is his movie. All I know is it's got a nice cast shaping up. What do you folks think?
