Catherine Zeta-Jones can see Houdini's future in DEATH DEFYING ACTS!!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. There's this Houdini flick in the works called DEATH DEFYING ACTS with the insanely interesting casting of Guy Pearce as the famous magician. It hit today that Catherine Zeta-Jones is taking a part in the film as well. When I read that, I immediately thought, "My God... Zeta-Jones has the perfect magician's assistant body!" Combine her in the Zorro-flicks with her costume from CHICAGO and you're damn close right there.

Turns out she isn't playing an assistant, but a psychic who has a passionate affair with Houdini.

The flick is being helmed by Gillian Armstrong, director of OSCAR AND LUCINDA and CHARLOTTE GRAY from a screenplay by Brian Ward (INTERPRETER) and Tony Grisoni (FEAR & LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS). Holy crap... A Houdini movie starring Guy Pearce, written by one of the main forces behind the brilliant FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS? I'm so fuckin' there...
