Rumors persist that Jeri Ryan will be reprising her Seven of Nine role for the next, John Logan-scripted “Star Trek” movie -- but first she’ll be joining the faculty of Winslow High over at Fox’s “Boston Public” (when the series gears up for next season).
In other Trekkish news, Rene Echevarria (writer-producer of “Deep Space Nine” and “Now & Again”) is said to have been promoted to showrunner over at “Dark Angel.” Season one showrunner Chick Eglee, who co-scripted the show’s pilot with James Cameron, is said to be moving on.
