Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I think Shia LaBeouf has kind of gotten the shit-end of the stick in recent times. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves from a lot of people. There's not many of his generation that has the charisma and immediate likability on top of actually being able to act. I think DISTURBIA's success can be laid at his feet and if TRANSFORMERS works at all when the giant robots aren't blowing each other up, it'll be because the audience can connect with LaBeouf.

That said, I think there is a danger of overexposure. He was on the radar and then with INDIANA JONES 4 he's been everywhere and will continue to be everywhere.

I think he and Caruso work well together, so I'm looking forward to this new project at Dreamworks called EAGLE EYE. It's based on a story by Steven Spielberg and produced by Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci (TRANSFORMERS and STAR TREK). The story is about a young adult and his single mother who are framed as terrorists. Somehow they end up with a group plotting a political assassination.

I want to hear more. The one-liner doesn't really get me excited, but I'm a fan of the team behind the project. Thoughts?
