Empire magazine has a great shot of Heath Ledger as the Joker on the cover. Looks like this is the same image that is still being revealed in a more teasing fashion HERE. Guess someone's timing didn't work out right?
Until now, I'd only managed to work myself up to "neutral" on the casting of Ledger as The Joker; this image sells me on the notion quite nicely. Of course, there's still much more to be seen...and much more to the character than appearance alone. Still, this is nice & creepy & promising.
