HEROES’ Anders & GALACTICA’s McClure To Play Frightened Couple In SciFi’s CHILDREN OF THE CORN Remake!!
I am – Hercules!!
TV vets David Anders (“Heroes”) and Kandyse McClure (“Battlestar Galactica”) will play terrified adults while Preston Bailey (“Dexter”) and Daniel Newman (“Surface”) will assay menacing moppets in SciFi’s 2009 TV-movie remake of “Children of the Corn,” based on the Stephen King story.
Anders and McClure inherit the roles originated by Peter Horton and Linda Hamilton in the 1984 big-screen version.
Donald P. Borchers, who co-wrote the 1986 Chris Makepeace thriller “Vamp,” directs from his own teleplay.
SciFi plans to air 36 original TV-movies next year.
