MAD MEN!! DAMAGES!! GALACTICA!! LOST!! CURB!! DAISIES!! ENTOURAGE!!
OFFICE!! 30 ROCK!! SNL!! WEEDS!! Emmy Night!!

I am – Hercules!!

SciFi's “Battlestar Galactica” got nominated for writing, but not best drama. ABC's “Lost” got nominated for best drama, but not writing.

Michael Emerson got a nod for assaying Ben Linus, but Jeremy Davies and Ken Leung got no love for their freshman turns on "Lost."

"Galactica" leads Mary McDonnell and Edward James Olmos were ignored again.

HBO's "The Wire" was left off the best-drama list for the fifth and final time.

"Wire" did pick up one nomination, for writing, while ABC's "Ugly Betty" scored two, for Vanessa Williams and America Ferrera.

NBC's "Friday Night Lights" was shut out again.

The first seasons of AMC's “Mad Men” and FX’s “Damages” and both made the “outstanding drama” list. FX’s “The Shield” was not nominated for outstanding drama, nor has it ever been.

ABC's "Pushing Daisies" didn't make the best comedies but Bryan Fuller got a nomination for writing its pilot, Barry Sonnenfeld got a nomination for directing it, and Lee Pace and Kristin Chenoweth both got acting nods.

"Saturday Night Live" rejoins "Letterman," "Conan," "Maher," "Stewart" and "Colbert" in the late-night comedy sweepstakes, nominated for both series and writing. "MADtv," "Mencia" and "Leno" watch from the sidelines.

Tina Fey, nominated for nine Emmys since 2001 (and winner of two, for writing “Saturday Night Live” and “30 Rock”), picked up three nominations this year: one for writing "30 Rock," one for acting in "30 Rock" and one for her appearance on the first (hilarious) post-strike SNL.

"South Park" and "Family Guy" are up against each other in Animated Program (One Hour Or More) for "Imaginationland" and "Blue Harvest," respectively.

“Two and a Half Men” got a comedy series nomination over “Pushing Daisies.” That’s just nuts!
