TV writer Jeff Rake, the “Cashmere Mafia” vet who created “Miss Match,” has teamed with NBC chief Ben Silverman’s old production company Reveille (“Nashville Star,” “Coupling,” “Ugly Betty,” “American Gladiators”) and rights-holder Sony to create a new version of “The Partridge Family.”

The 1970s original, starring Shirley Jones, David Cassidy, Susan Dey and Danny Bonaduce, was about a MILF who forms a pop band with her kids. They had a grumpy manager named Reuben Kincaid.

The project is seeking a channel.
