Sonnenfeld + Smith + Jones = MIB 3D!!

At a Vanity Fair function, Showbiz 411 bumped into Barry Sonnenfeld, who spoke to them about the next MIB installment.

Director Barry Sonnenfeld tells me that “Men in Black 3-D” is ready to roll. Will Smith has signed on, Tommy Lee Jones is in, and a script is awaited.

...says 411 HERE. The script they're awaiting is from Etan Cohen (TROPIC THUNDER), by the way. Quite a while back, I swear Will Smith said MIB 3 would be an "apology" for the lacking quality of MIB 2 - which, while highly successful, didn't sit well with many fans. I'm unable to locate that quote - if someone out there runs across it, please drop it into the Talkbacks below as it was pretty funny. Really looking forward to seeing what they come up with for MIB 3, although I'm not looking forward to seeing what they come up with pushed at me in 3D.
