Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some good news. I've always been upset that Disney has chosen to ignore this gem as an actual movie while still pulling in all the bank from selling the song Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah. As long as the Mouse House still makes a buck, who cares, right?

Well, it looks like I'll have to look at Disney in a newer light now that they've realized Uncle Remus' stories were not told because he was forced under a whip to tell them and his relationship with the children is not that of a master/slave relationship... So, unless they're using this as a spring board for SONG OF DA SOUTH II: DA RAPPA CHRONICLES starring Ice Cube as Unca Remus, Queen Latifah in the Hattie McDaniel role and Coolio as the voice of the Br'er Rabbit (which I wouldn't put past Eisner), then it looks like Disney is doing the right thing again.
